An Elegant Dining Experience
We've combined the essence of historic downtown Wallingford with exquisite cuisine, along with a worldwide wine selection to bring you Wallingford's most unique dining experience.

The Library Wine Bar and Bistro is Wallingford's original town library. Built in 1899, it was passionately and lovingly restored back to its classic, architectural beauty in 2014.

Executive Chef Jonathan Harris, and the Massella family invite you to come and dive into a new chapter of an old Wallingford landmark. Savor the comforts of traditional cuisine, wine, and spirits while nestled at a comfortable table near our cozy fire, and let the story begin!


Callie Grace Room
Located in the back of our main level, you can enter our second dining room through beautiful french glass doors. This room can accommodate up to 25-30 people.

This room is great for intimate gatherings such as showers and receptions; and is perfect for private corporate events such as meetings and presentations.

This room is not available as fully private Friday through Saturday nights, and Sunday mornings.

This room has a $300.00 room rental fee. 

Avery Madison Room
The Avery Madison Room, is located up on the second floor of the building and has a stage for performing arts, corporate functions and community events. 

This room can accommodate 60 seated & 80 cocktail style and has hardwood floors throughout. The center skylight fills the room with warm, natural light. The ceiling and walls have historic period chandeliers. 

This room is not handicapped accessible.

This room has a $300.00 room rental fee. 

The Reading Room
The Reading Room is located in back of the building on the lower level. It has its own private entrance and holds up to 80 seated & 100 cocktail style. It is handicapped accessible from the rear entrance of the building. 

It boasts a service bar, fireplace, historic period chandeliers that adorn the expansive, tall ceilings and bookcases reminiscent of the old children's library which this room used to house. 

This room is perfect for wedding receptions, showers, surprise parties, bereavements, company holiday parties, and much more!

This room has a $500.00 room rental fee.
